Lehman ABS certificate holders get final $17.54 million distribution

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, June 13 – Lehman ABS Corp. certificate holders received a final $17.54 million distribution from the Goldman Sachs Capital I Securities-Backed Series 2004-7 Trust on June 5, according to an 8-K filed by the trust on Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The distribution was made in connection with the exercise of outstanding call warrants on the certificates.

Specifically, the trust said the distribution includes the $17.13 million principal amount received on June 5 upon exercise of call warrants and $410,833 in interest.

According to the 8-K, the trust was formed under an agreement between depositor Lehman ABS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., and trustee U.S. Bank Trust NA.

New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. was the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company emerged from bankruptcy on March 6, 2012.
