Legg Mason announces portfolio management changes to two funds

San Diego, Feb. 22 - The Legg Mason BW Global Opportunities Bond Fund and the Legg Mason BW Absolute Return Opportunities Fund announced changes to their portfolio management teams.

According to a 497K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Brian R. Hess has been named associate portfolio manager/senior research analyst to both funds. He joins existing portfolio managers Stephen S. Smith, David F. Hoffman and John P. McIntyre.

McIntyre also has senior research analyst duties for the fund and was promoted to portfolio manager from associate portfolio manager in February.

Legg Mason Partners Fund Advisor, LLC is the manager for the funds. Philadelphia-based Brandywine Global Investment Management, LLC serves as the funds' investment adviser.
