New Issue: Leander ISD, Texas, sells $79.58 million unlimited tax refunding bonds

New York, Jan. 13 – The Leander Independent School District of Texas sold $79,582,191.90 of series 2016 unlimited tax refunding bonds, according to a pricing sheet.
The bonds (/AA-) were sold through senior manager William Blair & Co.
The bonds are due 2016 and 2019 to 2036 with a term bond due in 2040. The serial coupons range from 0% to 5% with yields from 0.4% to 3.09%. The 2040 bonds have a 2.5% coupon priced at par.
Proceeds will be used to refund the district’s series 2009, 2010 and 2010A school building and refunding bonds.
