China's LDK Solar plans offering of renminbi-denominated notes

Atlanta, Feb. 10 - China's LDK Solar Co. Ltd. plans to issue renminbi-denominated notes in a Regulation S transaction, according to a company announcement.

The notes will be payable in dollars.

Proceeds will be used to repay existing debt with remaining maturities of up to one year.

LDK Solar is a solar wafer producer based in Xinyu City, China.
