LBI Media official unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Dec. 7 – LBI Media, Inc.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Thursday by acting Region 3 U.S. trustee Andrew R. Vara, according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee is comprised of Eric Johnson of BUC, Inc. of West Studio City, Calif.; Sam Chilakos of Natural Concepts Marketing of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; Richard H. Reimer of the American Society of Composers, based in New York; Dennis Gillespie of TMI Trust Co. of Fort Worth, Texas; and Karla Amezola, represented by Jonathan Delshad of Los Angeles.

LBI Media is a Burbank, Calif., owner and operator of Spanish-language radio and television stations. The company filed bankruptcy on Nov. 21 under Chapter 11 case number 18-12655.
