Latvia buys back €7.01 million of government debt securities

Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 26 – Latvia repurchased €7.01 million of its debt securities on Wednesday, according to a notice.

Latvia had planned to buy back up to €180 million of its debt securities in a competitive multi-price auction on Nasdaq Riga, as previously announced.

Settlement will be on Friday.

At the end of the second quarter, the outstanding amount of Latvian government domestic securities was €1,097,000,000.
