New Issue: Chile’s Latam Airlines sells upsized $1.02 billion 4.2%, 4.5% trust certs

Chicago, May 29 – Chile’s Latam Airlines Group SA said it upsized its private offering of two tranches of enhanced equipment trust certificates to $1,020,823,000.
The private offering consists of class A certificates with a coupon of 4.2% year with a final distribution date of Nov. 15, 2027 and the class B certificates with a coupon of 4.5% with a final distribution date of Nov. 15, 2023, according to a company press release.
Proceeds will be used to acquire equipment notes issued by four separate special purpose vehicles, fully owned by Latam.
The airline is based in Santiago.
