Latam Airlines reports $26.87 million October profit from operations

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 30 – Latam Airlines Group, SA reported a $26.87 million profit from operations on $586.01 million total operating revenue for the October period, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In comparison, the company reported a $61.93 million loss from operations on $484.05 million of total operating revenue for the September period.
The net loss for the October period was $69.25 million, compared to a $92.52 million net loss in September.
The company reported $966.98 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Oct. 31, compared to $930.18 million as of Sept. 30.
Latam Airlines is a Santiago, Chile-based airline. The company filed bankruptcy on May 25, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11254.
