Latam Airlines seeks approval to sell nine Boeing 767-300 aircraft

Olympia, Wash., June 25 – Latam Airlines Group, SA is seeking court approval to sell nine Boeing 767-300 model aircraft to Jetran, LLC, according to a motion filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The exact purchase price was not disclosed. However, Jetran has already paid an initial deposit of $14.18 million and will pay another $14.18 million deposit to the escrow agent upon entry into an order approving the sale.

Latam is a Santiago, Chile-based airline. The company filed bankruptcy on May 25, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11254.
