Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 15 - LaserLock Technologies, Inc. said it raised $4.2 million in a private placement.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including research and development programs and development of an expanded sales and marketing campaign for the company's newest anti-counterfeiting technologies.

"These funds provide the necessary resources to enable LaserLock to introduce our most recent anti-counterfeiting technology globally," president Neil Alpert said in a press release. "I am confident in our anti-counterfeiting technologies and believe we are on the cutting edge of this rapidly expanding field."
