La Petite Academy calls $145 million 10% notes

Des Moines, Aug. 17 - La Petite Academy, Inc. and parent LPA Holding Corp. issued a redemption notice for all $145 million of their outstanding 10% senior notes due 2008.
The company will redeem the notes on Sept. 18 for the principal amount plus accrued interest.
La Petite Academy is a Chicago-based provider of educational child care.
