Laos planning international offering of dollar-denominated notes

New York, Dec. 7 – Lao People’s Democratic Republic is planning a possible international offering of new notes in December, according to a general announcement.

If the offering is for at least $150 million, Laos will use part of the proceeds to fully redeem its outstanding $150 million 6 7/8% notes due 2021.
