Lafarge issues make-whole call for €305 million 4.75% notes due 2020

Chicago, Sept. 26 – Lafarge SA issued a make-whole redemption notice for its 4.75% notes due September 2020.

Lafarge will redeem the notes on Oct. 18, according to the notice.

As announced May 27, Lafarge said it accepted for purchase €445,229,000 of the €750 million of 4.75% notes in the tender offers that ended at 11 a.m. ET on May 26.

Pricing was set at 119.133 using a spread of 35 basis points over mid-swaps for a reference rate of negative 0.051% and a purchase yield of 0.299%.

The company was offering to buy back €1.25 billion of notes in a tender offer for nine series of its debt securities, with three series covered by an any-and-all offer and another six covered by a capped offer.

For the redemption, Citibank, NA is the issuing the principal paying agent. BNP Paribas Securities Services, Luxembourg Branch and Citibank International plc are the paying agents. Natixis is the calculation agent.

LafargeHolcim is a Jona, Switzerland, supplier of cement, aggregates and concrete.
