Ladder Capital driving by with $500 million seven-year senior notes; initial talk 4¼%-4½%

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., Jan. 15 – Ladder Capital Corp. plans to price a $500 million offering of seven-year senior notes (Ba3/BB-) in a quick-to-market Wednesday trade, according to market sources.

Initial price talk has the notes coming to yield in the 4¼% to 4½% area, a trader said.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is leading the notes sale.

The notes come with three years of call protection.

The New York City-based real estate investment trust plans to use the proceeds to repay secured debt.
