Des Moines, Oct. 27 - LAB International Inc. arranged a private placement of special warrants exchangeable for common shares of LAB Research Inc., for proceeds of C$25,891,070.
The company plans to sell 6,392,857 special warrants at C$4.05 each. Each special warrant is exercisable for one common share of LAB Research.
Desjardins Securities Inc. agreed to act as agent for the deal.
Settlement is expected on Nov. 9.
LAB is a drug development based in Laval, Quebec.
