L-3 Communications files automatic shelf for senior unsecured notes

New York, March 29 - L-3 Communications Corp. registered an automatic shelf in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission covering senior unsecured notes and their guarantees.

Proceeds will go toward general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment, redemption or retirement of debt, payment of dividends, additions to working capital, capital expenditures, investments in its subsidiaries and possible acquisitions.

Based in New York, L-3 is a contractor in aircraft modernization and maintenance, secure communications systems and government services.
