Malaysia's Kumpulan corrects issue amount of sukuk to RM 136 million

Madison, Wis., Aug. 24 - Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd. clarified that its subsidiary, Konsortium Abass Sdn. Bhd., issued RM 136 million of sukuk on Aug. 17. A previous company announcement said that the subsidiary issued RM 138 million of the sukuk.

The Islamic securities will mature on Aug. 17, 2021.

Proceeds will be used to refinance Abass' existing financing facilities.

Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor is an investment holding and property development company based in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Konsortium Abass specializes in water treatment.
