New Issue: Korea's KT sells 600 billion won of unsecured notes in three tranches

New York, Feb. 11 - KT Corp. announced the issue of 600 billion won total of unsecured notes at par in three tranches on Tuesday.

The company sold 240 billion won of 4.86% notes due Feb. 9, 2013, 190 billion won of 5.26% notes due Feb. 9, 2015 and 170 billion won of 5.38% notes due Feb. 9, 2017.

Interest is payable quarterly.

Proceeds are earmarked for refunding bonds and for operations.

Woori Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. is the underwriter.

KT is a telecommunications provider based in Seongnam, South Korea.
