Fitch rates KT notes A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned KT Corp.’s planned U.S. dollar senior unsecured notes an A rating.

“The proposed notes are rated at the same level as KT's senior unsecured rating, as they represent its direct, unconditional, unsecured and unsubordinated obligations,” Fitch said in a press release.

KT will use the proceeds to refinance debt and for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
