Knoxville, Tenn., July 2 - Amur Minerals Corp. said it raised £1.02 million in a private placement of shares.
The company sold 6 million ordinary shares at 17p per share to Black River Asset Management LLP.
Fox-Davies Capital Ltd. was the co-broker.
Proceeds will be used for exploration and development at Kun-Manie, the company's main nickel exploration project in the Amur region of Far East Russia, and for general operating expenses.
Based in the British Virgin Islands, United Kingdom, Amur is a mineral resource development company focused on base metal projects located in the Far East of Russia, where it has three projects.
