Kronos Worldwide files $100 million shelf

Washington, Jan. 24 - Kronos Worldwide Inc. filed a $100 million shelf in an S-3 registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Included within the shelf are debt securities, common stock, preferred stock, warrants and convertibles.

Kronos, a Dallas-based titanium dioxide pigments manufacturer, said it would use money raised by offerings permitted under the shelf for general corporate purposes.
