Krispy Kreme amends loan, extending financial delivery deadline

New York, May 3 - Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp. amended its credit facility, extending the deadline to provide fiscal 2006 audited financial statements to the lenders to July 31, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday.

The amendment was completed on April 28 and is dated as of April 30.

Krispy Kreme is a Winston-Salem, N.C.-based branded specialty retailer of doughnuts.
