Singapore's KrisEnergy sets up S$500 million multicurrency note program

Madison, Wis., May 27 - KrisEnergy Ltd. announced that it established a S$500 million multicurrency medium-term note program.

HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank are the arrangers.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, acquisitions, capital expenditures, working capital and other purposes.

"We believe our inaugural MTN Programme will provide our group with flexible access to the Singapore domestic debt capital market," Kiran Raj, KrisEnergy's chief financial officer, commented in a press release.

The program will be listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.

KrisEnergy is an oil and gas exploration and production company with interests in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. The company has a registered office in the Cayman Islands and regional offices in Singapore, Jakarta, Indonesia, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
