Bulgaria's Kremikovtzi bankrupt, declared insolvent

Pittsburgh, Aug. 22 - Kremikovtzi AD has been declared insolvent by the Sofia City Court, which also initiated bankruptcy proceedings for the company, according to a news release.

Ana Milenkova has been appointed a temporary receiver.

According to the release, Kremikovtzi's creditors will meet on Sept. 26.

Kremikovtzi is Bulgaria's largest steel company.
