Kraton holds lender call seeking loan amendment to restructure European operations

By Sara Rosenberg

New York, Dec. 6 - Kraton Polymers LLC held a lender meeting on Wednesday to discuss a potential amendment to its senior secured credit facility that would allow the restructuring of its European operations to realize potential tax savings from its European subsidiaries, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The restructure, which involves forming a new Dutch CV, is estimated to save the company $8 million to $12 million in cash tax payments over the next five years.

Lender consents are due on Dec. 13.

Kraton is a Houston-based specialty chemicals company.
