Moodys ups Kraton, view stable

Moody's Investors Service raised Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc.'s corporate family rating to Ba3 from B1 reflecting improved leverage ratios and elevated margins.

The agency said it also assigned a SGL-2 speculative grade liquidity rating to Kraton. The outlook was revised to stable from positive.

"The upgrade reflects the improved operating results and leverage profile, positive credit metrics, and the prospect of profitable performance in 2012 and 2013," said Bill Reed, Moody's vice president in a news release.
