Kramer Levin promotes Sharret, Ward to bankruptcy special counsel

Minneapolis, Jan. 3 – Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP promoted Jennifer Sharret and Andrew Ward to special council, effective as of Jan. 1, according to a press release.

Based in New York, Sharret represents significant parties, including official creditors’ committees, bondholders, indenture trustees and secured and unsecured creditors and debtors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, out-of-court restructurings and other distressed situations.

Ward, also located in New York, has a transactional-based practice that focuses on supporting hedge funds, investment banks and other financial institutions with the purchase and sale of bankruptcy trade claims, Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) and Loan Market Association (LMA) bank debt, notes, bonds and various types of equity interests, both domestically and in foreign jurisdictions.

The firm also promoted Katrina Baker (employment), Allison Gray (business immigration), Jason Moff (litigation), Adam Taubman (land use), and Julia Wachter (real estate) to special counsel.

Kramer Levin is a law firm with offices in New York, Silicon Valley and Paris.
