S&P rates Kraft Foods BBB
Standard & Poor's said it assigned a BBB long term and A-2 short term corporate credit ratings to Kraft Foods Group Inc.
The outlook is negative.
Kraft Foods Inc. plans to spin off its North American grocery business, Kraft Foods Group, through a distribution of its stock to Kraft Foods' shareholders, S&P said.
The ratings assume that the spin-off occurs by the end of 2012, the agency said.
