Moody’s shifts views on three Hong Kong issuers

Moody’s Investors Service said it revised to negative from stable the outlooks on MTR Corp. Ltd., MTR Corp. (C.I.) Ltd. and Kowloon-Canton Railway Corp.

The rating action follows the change in outlook on Hong Kong’s Aa2 rating to negative from stable.

All three companies are government-related issuers and are closely connected to Hong Kong’s ratings and outlook, the agency said.

Moody’s also affirmed MTR Corp.’s issuer rating and senior unsecured ratings among others as it did for MTR Corp.’s (C.I.) Aa2 backed senior unsecured rating and Kowloon-Canton Railway’s issuer ratings and senior unsecured ratings.
