Fitch affirms Koszalin

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the City of Koszalin's national long-term rating at BBB-(pol) with a stable outlook.

The agency said the city's rating reflects its low operating results and the weak indicators of the local economy.

The rating is nonetheless supported by management's efforts to attract new investors to the city, the expected inflow of capital grants from the European Union, still moderate debt and current low contingent liabilities, Fitch said.
