Korea Zinc plans to sell $100 million of three-year floaters

New York, March 31 - Korea Zinc Co. Ltd. plans to issue $100 million of three-year floating-rate notes, according to a market source.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes.

ABN Amro is the bookrunner for the transaction.

Pricing is expected to take place during the week of April 3.

The Seoul-based issuer is a manufacturer and refiner of non-ferrous metals including zinc, lead and nickel for use in steel, automobiles and the construction industry.
