New Issue: Korea Southern Power prices $300 million 1 7/8% notes due 2018 at 115 bps spread

Atlanta, Jan. 28 - Korea Southern Power Co. Ltd. priced a $300 million issue of 1 7/8% notes due Feb. 5, 2018 (A1/A+/A+) at 99.229 to yield Treasuries plus 115 basis points, a market source said.

Barclays, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and RBS were the bookrunners for the Regulation S deal.

Korea Southern Power is part of Korea Electric Power Corp., the largest electric utility in South Korea.
