Moody's rates KOSPO notes A3

Moody's Investors Service assigned a senior unsecured debt rating of A3 to Korea Southern Power Co. Ltd.'s proposed notes issue. The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the A3 rating reflects KOSPO's sound financial profile, supported by the continuing growth in electricity demand in Korea and the company's cost-saving initiatives. The rating also reflects its solid operating profile, given its diversified portfolio of generating assets.
