Moody's gives Korea Investment note Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it gave a Baa2 senior unsecured rating to the yen-denominated senior unsecured notes issued by Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd.

“The Baa2 rating is in line with Korea I&S' long-term foreign-currency issuer rating. This is because the senior unsecured notes issued constitute senior, direct, general, unsubordinated, unsecured and unconditional obligations of Korea I&S, and at all times rank pari passu among themselves and at least pari passu with all other present and future unsubordinated and unsecured obligations of Korea I&S,” the agency said in a press release.

The proceeds will be used for general purposes.

The outlook is stable.
