S&P affirms Korea Hydro

S&P said it affirmed its AA long-term corporate credit and issue ratings on Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. (KHNP). The outlook is stable.

The company is Korea's sole operator of nuclear power plants and a wholly owned subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corp.

“The rating affirmation reflects our view that KHNP will remain a core subsidiary of Kepco,” S&P said in a news release.
