Moody's assigns Aa2 to Korea Hydro notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa2 to Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.’s planned senior unsecured U.S. dollar notes.

The notes will be issued under KHNP's $5 billion global medium-term note program, which is rated (P)Aa2.

KHNP plans to use the proceeds for the financing and/or refinancing of new or existing green projects, including the development, investment and operation of renewable power sources and the construction and operation of power storage.

The outlook is stable.
