Fitch rates Korea Gas bonds A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A+ rating to Korea Gas Corp. Co., Ltd.'s (Kogas) HK$500 million senior unsecured bonds due 20 June 2017.

The proceeds from the bond issue will be used for the company's general corporate purposes.

The ratings are equalized with those of its parent, the Korean sovereign, based on their strong ties as per the agency's parent-subsidiary linkage methodology, Fitch said.
