S&P rates Korea Gas notes AA-

S&P said it assigned its AA- long-term issue rating to a proposed issuance of dollar-denominated senior notes by Korea Gas Corp. (AA-/stable/A-1+).

The notes are to be drawn from the company's $11 billion global medium-term note program.

The company plans to use the proceeds for sustainability projects such as renewable energy and green buildings.

“We equalize the rating on the notes with the issuer credit rating on Kogas due to limited subordination risks,” the agency said in a news release.
