Moody's may up Korea Gas

Moody's Investors Service said it placed the A3 foreign-currency senior unsecured debt and foreign-currency issuer ratings of Korea Gas Corp. on review for upgrade. This action follows Moody's decision to place the Korean government's A3 ratings on review for upgrade.

As a government related issuer, Korea Gas's ratings incorporate a high level of government support in a stress situation, Moody's said, adding that an upgrade in the Korea rating will lead to an upgrade in the ratings of the company.
