S&P rates Korea Gas notes AA

S&P Global Ratings said it rated Korea Gas Corp.’s planned dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes AA. The notes will be drawn down from the company's $11 billion global medium-term note program.

“We equalize the rating on the notes with the issuer credit rating on Kogas (AA/stable/A-1+) due to limited subordination risks,” S&P said in a press release.

Kogas plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
