Moody's rates Korea Finance A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned to Korea Finance Corp. a first-time A2 foreign-currency long-term issuer rating and prime-1 foreign-currency short-term issuer rating.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the combination Korea's A2 sovereign bond rating as a systemic support indicator, Moody's said.

The ratings are further underpinned by the company's charter, which stipulates that the government fully contributes the Corp.'s capital and is responsible for the bank's solvency.
