Korea files $5 billion shelf registration covering debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., April 19 - The Republic of Korea and the Korea Development Bank filed a $5 billion shelf registration in a Schedule B filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shelf includes debt securities, warrants and guarantees to be offered by the bank and guarantees that will be offered by the republic.

Proceeds will be used for general operations.
