Korea and Korea Development Bank file $5 billion shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 19 - The Republic of Korea and Korea Development Bank jointly filed a $4 billion shelf registration in a Schedule B filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers debt securities, warrants to purchase debt securities and guarantees to be offered by the bank and guarantees to be offered by the country.

Proceeds will be used for general operations.
