S&P rates Korea bonds AA

S&P said it assigned an AA long-term foreign-currency rating to the dollar-denominated senior unsecured bonds issued by the Republic of Korea.

The notes represent direct, general, unconditional and unsubordinated obligations of the sovereign, ranking equally with the sovereign's other unsecured and unsubordinated debt obligations, the agency said.
