New Issue: Korea sells KRW 1.07 trillion of 1 7/8% 10-year treasury bonds at 1.56%

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 19 – The Ministry of Finance of Korea accepted KRW 1,065,000,000,000 of bids for its 1 7/8% 10-year treasury bonds on Monday, according to a government notice.

The weighted average accepted rate was 1.56%. The bids received ranged from 1.555% to 1.595%.

Korea initially offered KRW 1.1 trillion of the bonds. It received bids for KRW 3.88 trillion, for a bid-to-cover ratio of 352.7%.

The bonds were originally issued on June 10.
