Fitch rates Korea issue A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned the forthcoming U.S.-dollar-denominated 10-year global bond issue of the Republic of Korea an expected long-term foreign currency rating of A.

The outlook is stable, consistent with the sovereign rating.
