Koninklijke Philips files automatic shelf

Chicago, March 4 - Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV registered to sell an undetermined amount of securities in an F-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the automatic shelf are debt securities, which may be issued as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Koninklijke Philips is an electronics company based in Amsterdam.
