Kommunalbanken launches $1.5 billion of three-year notes at mid-swaps plus 4 bps

Tupelo, Miss., Dec. 1 – Kommunalbanken Norway (Aaa/AAA) launched a $1.5 billion Rule 144A and Regulation S offering of three-year notes on Tuesday at mid-swaps plus 4 basis points, according to an informed source.

The notes were initially talked to price in the mid-swaps plus 6 bps area.

Citigroup Global Markets Ltd., HSBC Bank plc, NatWest Markets Securities Inc. and Nomura Securities International Inc. are the bookrunners.

Oslo-based Kommunalbanken provides funding to municipalities.
