Kommunalbanken talks benchmark offering of notes due 2024 at mid-swaps plus 17 bps area

Tupelo, Miss., Jan. 29 – Kommunalbanken AS (Aaa/AAA) plans to price a benchmark-sized Rule 144A and Regulation S offering of dollar-denominated five-year notes on Tuesday, according to a market source.

The notes due Feb. 5, 2024 were initially talked to price in the mid-swaps plus 17 basis points area.

BofA Merrill Lynch., Nomura Securities International, Inc., RBC Capital Markets, LLC and TD Securities (USA) LLC are the lead managers.

The government-funded lender to municipalities is based in Oslo.
