Fitch lifts Koleje Mazowieckie view to stable

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlook on Koleje Mazowieckie - KM sp zoo’s to stable from negative and affirmed its long-term foreign-currency issuer default ratings at BBB-, local-currency issuer default rating at BBB and national long-term rating at A(pol).

Koleje Mazowieckie Finance AB’s €100 million senior unsecured notes due in 2016, which are guaranteed by Koleje Mazowieckie, also were affirmed at BBB-.

The outlook revision follows the revision of the outlook on the ratings of Koleje Mazowieckie’s sole owner, the Polish region of Mazowieckie, Fitch said.

The links between the company and the region remain strong, the agency said.

Fitch said it believes the region is willing and able to support the company and secure a stable flow of funds, if needed.

The company provides public railway transport services within the region and ensures that rail service is available to the public, the agency said.
